Installation Instructions:
A catalytic converter can only function perfectly for an extended period of time when the full combustion chain is operating to automakers' specifications. Even the smallest failure in the complete combustion chain will greatly shorten the life of the converter.

Minimum checklist:

• Check and/or renew the oil filter
• Check and/or renew the air filter
• Check and/or renew receipts
• Check engine management
• Check Turbo
• Check LPG installation (where applicable)
• Check oil consumption
• Check coolant consumption
• Check for cylinder head gasket leak
• Check the exhaust gas mixture
• Check the quality and capacity of the (pre-) catalytic converter
• Check all sensors (lambda sensors)
• Check EGR valves and system

Also, test the following:

• injectors
• Compression
• starter and battery
• Emission control

Do not use a gasket in front of the converter and always make sure that the recommended oil is used. It is recommended to change the oil when replacing the catalytic converter.

Only when the entire chain is operated to factory specifications will the catalytic converter work properly.
