Minimum checklist:

• Check and/or replace oil filter
• Check and/or replace air filter
• Check and/or replace spark plug
• Check engine management
• Control additive level, type and quality
• Check oil consumption
• Check coolant consumption
• Check for leaks at the cylinder head gasket
• Check regeneration frequency and efficiency
• Check the quality and capacity of the (pre)catalyst
• Check all sensors (lambda sensors)
• Check EGR valves and system

Additionally, you should test the following:

• injectors
• Turbo Egr
• starter and battery
• Emissions test

Do not use a gasket on the front of the diesel particulate filter. Special engine oil producing low ash is recommended. It is highly recommended to change the oil when replacing the catalytic converter.

The particle filter can only do its job properly if all its conditions are met.
